Cotton Stable has a coating on one side that develops an adhesive effect when subjected to heat. Iron in place wherever a soft stabilizer might be used, and carefully tear away excess backing close to stitching. Eliminates shifting, sliding, puckering, and stretching of material. The iron on coating produces only a weak adhesive effect allowing the removal of Cotton Stable without residue. Ideal for: stretch fabrics, such as T-shirts, jerseys, knits; buttonholes in stretch materials; appliques; and computer prints.
Cotton Fix is an adhesive stabilizer with a paper-backed release sheet, ideal for hooped computerized machine embroidery. Avoids hoop marks on delicate and sensitive fabrics, such as velvet, suede and silk. Simply hoop Cotton Fix paper side up, score and remove release paper to expose adhesive. Finger press fabric to the Cotton Fix and put the hoop on your machine for embroidery. Excellent for patchwork as small items can be embroidered without basting them to the stabilizer. Ideal for: fixing details, such as cuffs, trouser flies, collars, pockets; velvet; leather; caps; knits; stretchy fabrics and jerseys.
Cotton Soft is an excellent all purpose stabilizer, soft and gentle to the touch, yet strong and rigid enough for hooping and stitching. It will not stretch or distort stitches and tears away with the greatest of ease leaving a super-clean edge. The natural cotton fibers make it environmentally friendly and extremely comfortable against the skin, particularly good for baby and children’s clothes, heirloom sewing, quilting and paper-piecing. Ideal for: machine embroidery; applique; buttonholes; monogramming; decorative embroidery and cut-work.
